My wife and I and our daughter and son-in-law stayed at Orchid Corner while in Meta. The rooms and were spotless and neatly decorated. Antonino picked us up at the train station, and Carmela had a snack of cake and coffee ready when we arrived. Carmela provides excellent advice on the sites in the region. It was our good fortune to follow her advice in all matters of travel and eating around the Amalfi Coast and Naples. The location of Orchid Corner is near the only public beach in the Sorrento area, and once you get to know the route, only a few minutes walk from the train station. Meta is the perfect location if you want to stay in Sorrento but do not like the crowds, and the Orchid Corner B&B is the perfect location in Meta. Meta gives you a small slice of every day Italian life. Carmela and Antonino make you feel like family.

Watching again these days our holiday’s pictures, we remembered the splendid time we had in Orchid Corner in September 2007. We could easily move from Meta and visit with public transportation all the tourist spots of the area around, including Capri, Naples, Pompei and Vesuvio. But, more than just the convenient location of this beautiful and relaxing place, we enjoyed the familiar hospitality of Carmela and Antonino, who made also easy to get acquainted with other International guests. We´ll never forget the organised dinner at "Conca" at Meta seaside, with great seafood and the most spectacular fireworks we have ever seen, in a friendly and lovely atmosphere. We had a wonderful two-week sojourn at the Orchid Corner. Though in the meanwhile one might call it the Rose Corner. The cacti collection is very impressive, too. If you like concrete block hotels with “interesting” views on construction sites in the neighbourhood and lots of noise from the street then you’re wrong here. At Carmela and Antonino you can find a special piece of Italy: humor that heals stress away, quietness to enjoy your favourite book, lots of interesting guests from all over the world and of course the hospitality to make you feel like home. Quite notelessly Carmela and Antonino turned out to be the most funny and yet effective Italian teachers. If you prefer English or French, Carmela can do you that favour. We can warmly recommend the beach there. Do take your bathing suits with you even in October. We had great sunny weather at that time of the year. È stato magnifico! Ciao, Christian and Alexandra

un posto incantevole a due passi dal mare dove regna l'ospitalità e la cortesia.... siamo stati tre giorni in altissima stagione ma è stato un soggiorno piacevole e riposante. tranquillo il posto, curato e immerso nel verde anche se centrale. Un posto dove tornare! Grazie.

We have traveled through Europe over the years, and can safely say that Orchid Corner has been the best place we have stayed. It is beautiful and romantic, and Carmela and Antonino are just lovely. We are definitely coming back next year! The rooms are wonderful and the area is perfect. Susi and Aron.

We have been to Europe 3 times in the past year and this experience was by far the most memorable. Carmella and Antonino were exceptional hosts and the facility was amazing. We will definitely return with our children. Meta Sorrento, while out of the way, was a great experience. The restaurants were great and all the locals were wonderful to deal with. Wonderful breakfast in your cosy kitchen every day and your great hospitality was somting we enjoyed very much. Meta is a perfect spot for a holiday and Orchid Corner is a pearl. It was not our first holiday in Italy and definitive not our last. We hope to return some day to Orchid Corner. Thanks again. :-))

We were fortunate to spend three wonderful days in Orchid Corner. Carmela welcomed us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. Our room was bright, cheery and spotless. The breakfasts were magnificent and we loved sitting on the patio with all the flowers and the sweet smell of the orange blossoms. Although we loved all of Italy, Orchid Corner will always have a special place in our hearts. We will certainly tell our friends about it and we hope to return some day. We surely enjoyed our stay with you recently. Our Amalfi Coast tour with Antonella was probably the highlight of our Italian holiday, and the quarters, food , camaraderie, and ambience of Orchid Corner and Meta Sorrento were delightful. Dear Camela and Antonino Just a note to thank you for your hospitality. We had a most enjoyable stay and appreciated Orchid Corner as a base from which to explore the fascinating Bay of Naples, Capri and Amalfi. It was very special to see the Easter Processions and taste some of the local Easter foods at breakfast. The girls did swim on that last morning, a relaxing way to finish. We spent six weeks in Italy this past summer (2006). Out week at the Orchid Corner was by far the best. Carmela and her family were so very wonderful. They introduced us to a part of Italy we would not have seen otherwise. This definitely is a spot you cannot miss. Thanks again.
